The B2B nCino LOS Senior Product Manager - Agile leads product owners and product analysts that partner with business stakeholders to prioritize projects and enhancements for the application backlog. The team is responsible for gathering business requirements and documenting epics, features, and stories in our agile tools. The team partners with delivery teammates to ensure development meets business expectations via SAFe Agile methodology, including conducting demos, story and feature acceptance, and testing. The leader is responsible for managing risk, issues, and end user support for the application.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for leading a team of product managers and product owners, setting direction and priorities for products, services, and experiences.
- Responsible for understanding industry landscape, competitive environment, and voice of client.
- Develop product roadmaps in collaboration with Relationship Managers and Line of Business (LOB) partners.
- Manage teams that develop and groom backlog from EPICS down to user stories in partnership with LOB, User Experience/User Interface, Content, Technology, and Operations Partner with Tech Agile teams on development, rollout, and post-production support.
- Partner with Legal, Risk, & Compliance on new product development and remediation when applicable.
- Partner with associated LOBs, marketing, operation, and readiness teams on commercialization and rollout.
- Responsible for the client experience/results/KPIs of assigned platforms.
- Manage product pricing, including modeling pricing changes.
- Manage annual budget, including monthly forecasting.
- Hire, mentor and manage team members; proactively provide timely, candid, and constructive performance feedback in efforts to cultivate appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning.
- Responsible for leading teams across related but disparate functions to support successful deployment of new products and integrated experiences.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ degree in business, engineering, design, or technology field; or related field or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Three or more years of banking, financial services, digital, or other relevant work experience.
- Two or more years of product, analysis, technology, and/or design experience.
- Comfortable managing concurrent projects in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, leading work autonomously, and making independent decisions.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Well-developed analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of trends in technology and in the financial services industry.
- Ability to learn and translate technically complex concepts into business friendly terminology.
- Considerable tact, diplomacy, and people skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products, to analyze and communicate complex information to business leadership.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong understanding of and experience in the end-to-end commercial lending process.
- Prior experience with Salesforce, nCino lending technology, and related technology platforms used in the commercial lending process.
