GENERAL MANAGER
Overview:
As the General Manager at LOPCO Contracting, you will oversee all aspects of our business operations, ensuring the smooth execution of projects and the overall success of the company. This role demands a dynamic leader with a robust background in the construction industry, specifically in remodeling and renovation. The GM will manage a team of 3-5 Direct Reports and oversee approximately 50 field staff, comprising both contractors and permanent employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring the efficient and timely completion of all remodeling and renovation projects.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize business performance.
- Monitor and streamline project workflows to maximize productivity.
- Staff Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 3-5 Direct Reports who oversee around 50 field staff.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional growth.
- Ensure that all teams adhere to company standards and project timelines.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve company goals and drive growth.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the remodeling and renovation sectors.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and adjust business strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Financial Management:
- Prepare, manage, and monitor budgets to ensure financial health and profitability.
- Implement cost control measures without compromising on quality or client satisfaction.
- Oversee financial performance and reporting, making adjustments as necessary to meet financial targets.
- Client Relations:
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new client partnerships.
- Ensure client satisfaction by overseeing project delivery, addressing any issues promptly, and exceeding client expectations.
- Represent LOPCO Contracting as the primary point of contact for high-profile projects.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior management role within the construction industry, with a focus on remodeling and renovation projects.
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage and inspire teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong client relationships.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of successfully executing business growth strategies.
- Financial acumen with experience in budget management and financial oversight.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing in-office presence with remote work responsibilities.

Salary:$70,000 - $80,000- Commensurate with experience
