Pay Range: We offer a competitive compensation package with a base salary and commission opportunities that bring total earnings to between $150,000 and $190,000, depending on experience and performance.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Regional Rental Sales Director and Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a dynamic and positive sales environment focused on achieving revenue and profitability targets. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for overseeing companywide rental revenue and performance in key regions including Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Texas, Arizona, and California.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales Team Development: Develop and mentor sales managers and staff in best practices for operational efficiency, team cohesion, and adherence to company values.
- Marketing Communication: Collaborate with marketing to communicate needs, enhance customer retention strategies, and devise new rental campaigns.
- Business Development: Support, manage, grow, and maintain opportunities with national accounts.
- Innovative Strategies: Propose innovative ideas to drive rental profits, improve operational efficiency, and enhance sales performance.
- Pricing Management: Enforce authority guidelines and limits for rental pricing and custom and new stock lease opportunities.
- Performance & Team Management: Review sales approach, communication methods, tools usage, and key performance metrics to enhance team performance. Manage sales consultants through evaluations, training programs, growth plans, reward programs, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
- Master Lease Program: Maintain and promote the utilization of the Master Lease Program.
- Incentive Programs: Work with the VP of Sales and Marketing to develop spiff incentives, conducting progress check-ins and fostering team communication.
- Meeting Rhythms: Lead sales management L-10 and ensure all branches follow consistent L10 meeting rhythms and disciplines.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with leadership to enhance sales and rental processes and policies. Maintain awareness of competitors' offerings to ensure competitive pricing.
- Inventory Management: Ensure adequate fleet and VAPS inventory to fulfill orders, support growth, and minimize transfers.
- Customer and Employee Satisfaction: Collaborate with leadership to enhance customer satisfaction, improve employee retention, and contribute to new initiatives and change management.
