Overview:
LMI's CIO oversees the strategy, architecture, design, selection, and efficient deployment of all IT systems within the organization. The CIO will lead IT strategy and serve as a business partner to all enterprise services, with clear articulation and prioritization of firm-wide requirements and objective stewardship of the IT budget.
The CIO will oversee and implement selected technology solutions for LMI. The CIO will drive LMI to adopt industry best practices and will be responsible for continuous improvement of delivery and cost metrics.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Senior Leadership Team, CTOs, and business leaders to assess current and future needs of the organization, paving down roadblocks and connecting across the organization to implement solutions quickly.
- Develop a long-term IT vision, strategy, and target architecture to strengthen LMI as a tech and digitally enabled consultancy.
- Lead, mobilize, and socialize the CIO point of view with LMI leaders and the CIO team around the IT vision and strategy.
- Select and implement technologies to streamline and improve internal operations and optimize their strategic benefits.
- Analyze and optimize IT costs, value, and risks to advise the C-suite of investment alternatives and recommended actions.
- Drive the implementation of new systems internally, and guide the selection and implementation of IT solutions for our customers.
- Design and customize technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience through user journeys and use-case development.
- Drive technology business management to ensure visibility and accountability of IT spending by each function.
- Lead the service lines in architecting new business models for solutions.
- Partner with the CISO in guiding technology choices and interactions with internal and external stakeholders, and be cognizant of security and cyber hygiene postures.
- Be a thought leader on IT and security, and participate in appropriate forums and customer meetings to highlight LMI’s capabilities and perspectives.
Qualifications:
- Degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related technology discipline.
- Master’s degree desired.
- Advanced certifications in IT preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, at least 5 years at the management level; 3+ years of consulting experience providing strategic and operational advice to C-suite leaders is preferred.
- Expert knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, with experience designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementation.
- Robust understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations.
- Experience working with project teams; executing plans, schedules, and budgets; influencing decisions on resource utilization and allocations; and improving time to market and solutions.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities; excellent organizational, influencing, and leadership skills.
- Advanced skills in interpersonal communication, relationship building, and customer service orientation.
