Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

Job Summary: The Senior Program Manager, Turning Point will be responsible for administrative oversight and supervision of case management and line staff for this Interim Housing Program for The People Concern. They will also provide strong day-to-day administrative and supervisory oversight and ensure successful performance-based outcomes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop effective relationships with clients using a client-centered approach.
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide integrated care.
- Provide guidance to staff on implementing appropriate interventions.
- Promote opportunities for critical thinking among team members.
- Provide crisis intervention and triage services.
- Manage client grievances and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure the physical site is well-maintained and safe.
- Oversee daily operations of the shelter.
- Provide on-call coverage for emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with documentation standards.
- Manage intake process and ensure open beds are filled timely.
- Prepare data for reports to funders.
- Oversee internal site auditing of client charts.
- Represent the agency at funding partner meetings.
- Provide supervision and performance evaluations for direct reports.
- Facilitate weekly case conferencing.
- Coordinate with other agency programs.
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Incorporate life skills programming into the program design.
- Develop and improve programming and manage budgets.
- Train staff on programmatic expectations.
- Maintain knowledge of community resources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, Psychology or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum two years of experience in a nonprofit setting.
- At least two years of leadership/management experience preferred.
- Minimum of two years' experience providing Case Management services required.
- Skilled in non-violent crisis intervention.
- Demonstrated knowledge of issues faced by the population served.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently.
- Current, valid California Driver's License.
- Ability to provide evening and weekend hours.
- On-call 24/7 requirement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to obtain and maintain CPR/1st Aid certification.
Work Environment:
- Field and indoor office environment.
- May need to travel to different local sites.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
- Will work in busy and sometimes loud environments.
- May need to bend, stoop, twist, and sit throughout the day.

- Work with minimal supervision.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
