Position Overview:
The Market General Manager is a senior leadership position responsible for leading strategy, tactical execution, sales, and operation KPI in multiple markets with retail locations and 80+ employees including Retail Sales Consultants, Retail Store Managers, and Area Retail Sales Managers. You will be recruiting, hiring, training, developing, and motivating top talent to maximize gross profit and key performance metrics in your assigned area.
Position Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest level of customer experience at the store level by setting expectations of excellence in the execution of store standards, talent development, and product knowledge.
- Responsible for the organization's operational timelines including monthly inventory counts, cash accounts, and additional operational KPIs.
- Leads region to grow and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales metrics.
- Ability to bring strategic plans to their team, create tactical plans that are executed, and lead to attainment success.
- Initiate and lead business change efforts to maximize desired results.
- Recruit, hire, and develop top sales individuals for assigned regions.
- Direct and oversee all communication within your assigned region.
- Develop, challenge, and motivate all team members and inspire them to lead their individual results.
- Create an environment where employees are empowered to deliver unique customer service solutions that are aligned with company goals.
- Foster a continuous learning environment that delivers the most knowledgeable and skilled teams in retail.
- Collaborate and share best practice solutions with leadership and peer groups to enable the rapid success of the company.

- Conduct regularly scheduled store visits according to established company guidelines to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards for appearance within assigned regions.
- Conduct annual performance reviews of Area Managers and oversee performance reviews of Store Managers.
- Ability to multi-task and work in an organized, efficient manner.

Required Qualifications
- High school education is required. Preferred Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 5 years related work experience.
- Supervisory or management experience of sales team required, multi-unit management experience required.
- Consistent high achievement in prior sales positions required.
- Commitment to exemplary customer service, honesty, and integrity.
- Enthusiasm for retail and wireless technology and products is required.
- Must be able to work at multiple locations within a region.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time.
- The ability to recruit, train evaluate, and coach team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as necessary.

- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.
