About The Role
The Product Development Manager will be responsible for building a network of vendors for materials and factories across various garment categories. This role involves managing the development process from initial creative concept to production handover. The candidate will need to maintain adherence to the Development and Production Calendar, ensuring key milestone dates are met.
Responsibilities include overseeing pre-costing, identifying price challenges, and managing prototype and sample schedules. The individual will also be tasked with maintaining clear records and overseeing the integrity of BOM details during the development phase.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience across multiple garment categories, demonstrating a strong understanding of the design process and production requirements. A keen eye for quality, design, cost, and timing is essential for success in this role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with various teams and vendors. The candidate should possess proven methods of finding efficiencies and creating processes to streamline product development.
