Custodian - Quality Control Leader
Job Description:
Ensures DCSD quality standards are being met. Responsibilities include daily visits to grade the overall effectiveness of custodial service at DCSD locations. Qualified candidate must have the ability to speak and communicate effectively with external vendors, and internal stakeholders (supervisors and custodians). Must be personable and have a professional appearance. Bilingual is a plus. Develops and promotes good community relations among various district and community clientele. Position requires some flexibility in scheduling hours to meet work demands; may include before and after school hours and some evenings.
Minimum Experience:
5 years or more of experience in quality control and inspection of facilities.

- Occasional lifting five (5) to ten (10) pounds

- Occasional bending, squatting, or standing
Position Specific Information (if Applicable):
This is a day position. Hours 7-3:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Review internal and stakeholder inspection and observation reports and respond to inspection quality deficiencies.
- Conduct site inspections and scorecards.
- Schedule visits to ensure stakeholder feedback.
- Provide and update monthly quality control reports.
- Contact custodians and provide feedback.
- Follow-up with stakeholders on service related issues.
- Communicate with manager to identify and resolve any service related issues.
- Develop and modify training programs to improve quality with assistance of the manager and group leaders.
- Assist in training of custodial staff.
- Complete general administrative work.
- Comply with dress code and personal hygiene standards.
- Work cooperatively with others in a positive, enthusiastic, respectful, courteous manner.
- Perform other related duties, tasks, and special projects as assigned or requested.
- Develop, implement, and manage Key Performance Indicators based on numerical data to assess custodial quality, operational performance, and organizational readiness to improve performance and productivity.
- Assure that the performance objectives and standards specified by contracts are met through the Quality Control and Training Programs.
- Oversee and coordinate the quality control and custodial training functions.
- Support manager level projects and initiatives.
- Maintain an electronic tracking system for inspection reports and other required reports.
- Attend and participate in in-service training, staff meetings, and other activities to facilitate professional development.
Certifications:
Driver's License - Colorado
Education:
High School or Equivalent (Required)
Skills:
- Ability to operate DCSD vehicles, lifts, and trailers.
- Collaborative team player.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Maintains a generally positive attitude.
- Observes all District policies and procedures.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.

Full Salary Range:
$24.47 USD - $41.30 USD Hourly
- All salary amounts listed above are based on a full-time (1.0) FTE. If applicable, part-time salaries will be prorated according to the assigned FTE.
