The Good Eating Company is seeking several dynamic individuals for the role of Director of Operations to support our business in The Bay Area of California. They will oversee the execution of our customer’s critical infrastructure focusing on support to lead our top team of professionals in The Good Eating Company. The preferred candidate will have experience in operations at an executive level managing multiple hospitality services and locations.

The Director of Operations will have strong leadership skills along with understanding our client’s expectations and providing the required management support in the sales effort through feasibility studies, pricing, and quality service.
The position requires a strategic-thinking leader who can work in partnership with client vision & expectations while delivering high quality dining service programs that will achieve high customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong executive presence with the ability to work within complex, multiple client organizations. Strong relationship skills are a must to effectively work internally as well as externally to the organization.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Possess exceptional leadership, communication, presentation, negotiation, and client relations skills with the ability to work both horizontally & vertically in the organization.
- Have strong financial acumen with demonstrated success handling complex financial contracts with many aspirational requirements.
- Exhibit highly developed organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple and often conflicting priorities, meet deadlines, and proactively address operational and client needs.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to develop and motivate a team across multiple sites in a complex environment.
- Have a cultured culinary palate.

The Good Eating Company was cooked up in London in 1999 around the kitchen table, over several bottles of Ribera del Duero. While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education, and training.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Basic Management Experience - 7 years.
Basic Functional Experience - 7 years of experience in operations.
