Head of Business Process Management and Digital Solutions (m/f/d)
The Head of Business Process Management and Digital Solutions role is one of the backbone roles of Global Organization Management of Allianz Services. You will be the owner of the Business Process Model and Business Process Landscape of Allianz Services by covering entire business and governance dimensions of the entity e.g.: Service Lines, Central Functions, Branches. You will also be the owner of the MS Dynamics ERP system within the organization. The person will work closely with business leaders, safeguarding functions, second and third line of defense functions, regions and all units in the COO area. You will gain solid experience in an international and multicultural environment. The position offers an excellent platform to get broad exposure to different lines of business.
What you do:
- Be the owner of Business Process Model and Business Process Landscape of Allianz Services by covering entire business and governance dimensions of the entity e.g.: Service Lines, Central Functions, Branches.
- Ensure compliance with Allianz Services and Allianz Group Standards (BPMN 2.0) at all levels, facilitate maintaining business process notations in ADONIS.
- Ensure maintenance of the company handbook by ensuring consistency with the current Organizational Model of Allianz Services, manage stakeholders across business units, safeguarding, 2nd and 3rd line of defense functions.
- Drive process simplification and process mining (in Celonis) of AZ Services internal processes.
- Lead MS Dynamics further rollout as the owner of the ERP tool of the entity, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Monitor performance of MS Dynamics in coordination with the main stakeholders in central functions e.g.: IT, Project Management Office, Finance/Controlling, Risk and as well as the AZ Services regions also provide regular strategic performance results of MS Dynamics to EMT and senior decision makers, ensuring to capture quantitative and qualitative business value, escalate issues to top management where necessary.
- Manage controversial negotiations with internal & external vendors, manage the budget and ensure proper level of architectural point of view for MS Dynamics by being in strong coordination with business owners and finance to foster a certain level of standardization and harmonization.
- Act as a key driver of globalization of AZ Services and build and lead a high-performing, globally capable and collaborative team.
What you bring:
- 8+ years hands-on experience in Project Portfolio Management, Project Consulting or similar role.
- Solid experience in project management methodologies (e.g., waterfall, agile), portfolio management frameworks (e.g., PMBOK, PRINCE2), and specific practices for portfolio planning, prioritization, resource management, risk management, cost and benefits management and performance measurement.
- Very good understanding of regulatory environments, controls frameworks, corporate requirements and strong communication skills, possessing an ability to clearly articulate messages in a structured manner.
- Previous experience in leadership with proven ability to lead direct and cross-functional teams (lead by example). Team player who takes responsibility and seeks impulses for innovation.
- Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics and execution road map. Ability to clearly articulate messages, common vision / goal to a variety of audiences.
- Previous experience in business-related functions (i.e. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus.
