The Director, Digital Strategy is an expert at developing digital strategy and managing execution across all channels (email, social, SMS, ads, etc.), with an interest in or experience growing nonprofit digital marketing programs. We're looking for someone who possesses a strong ability to use and deploy integrated digital strategies as part of an overall audience-first marketing strategy and communicates and collaborates effectively both internally and externally. The Director will spearhead digital strategy, manage challenging client campaigns, provide excellent customer service and be able to adeptly navigate complicated organizational structures.

In this role you will:
- Lead and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to optimize performance and drive impactful fundraising campaigns.
- Collaborate across teams to translate operational goals into successful digital initiatives, ensuring clarity in how each role contributes to overall success.
- Manage budgets, cash flow, and performance metrics for key marketing channels including SEO, SEM, social media, programmatic advertising, email, and mobile platforms.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, delivering best-in-class customer service and strategic insights.
- Partner with data and analytics teams to monitor, measure, and optimize digital marketing efforts, translating data into actionable recommendations.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, expertly managing multiple deliverables and working with cross-functional partners to enhance overall strategy and outcomes.
You will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field or equivalent work-related experience.
- 7+ years of work experience with digital strategy, digital marketing, digital media. Agency experience desired.
- Experience in optimizing landing pages and ad copy/creative/targeting, including experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
- Previous responsibility successfully managing budgets, performance, and ROI for performance marketing channels including SEO, SEM, social media, programmatic advertising, mobile marketing platforms, email marketing, and conversion optimization.
- Strong grasp of current marketing tools, trends, and best practices, and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution.
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing social, email, and digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, Google Ads, and programmatic advertising.
- Strong interest in running campaigns for nonprofit clients; experience in the nonprofit health space is a plus.
- Highly creative with expertise in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
