SodexoMagic is seeking a General Manager 3, a leader for our newly acquired Stillman College Dining Operations, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The scope of our services will be the Resident Dining Operations, with plans to renovate and upgrade operations, and future plans for Retail offerings. The successful candidate will exemplify knowledge and skills in Leadership, Customer Service, Operational Excellence, Innovation, Client Relations, Financial Acumen and Employee Relations. The ultimate goal is to enhance the experience for the students, faculty and staff at Stillman.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- have oversight of day-to-day operations;
- deliver high quality food service;
- achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
- develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
- develop strategic plans;
- create a positive environment;
- ensure Sodexo standards are met.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates who:
- have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience;
- have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
- can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
- prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed;
- demonstrate working knowledge of Food Management Systems and proficient in computer skills and report management.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
