Evoke is seeking a Capture Manager to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Fuel company's growth by applying professional experience and insights of client acquisition trends and the competitive landscape across the federal management consultancy ecosystem to identify and win new business.
- Following initial identification of biddable opportunities, lead teams through the critical and time sensitive Capture phase of the Business Development (BD) Lifecycle, transitioning qualified opportunities through the gate review process and into Proposal Management.
- Establish capture schedules, rally team resources and achieve targeted capture deadlines.
- Perform research and facilitate intelligence gathering of publicly available client information, RFPs and other intelligence sources and analyze data in recommending bid/no bid decisions centered around Probability of Win (PWin).
- Facilitate collaboration with colleagues, teammates and SMEs on strategy sessions focused on bid strategies, gap analysis, win themes, and differentiated solution frameworks to address the client's mission goals. Key contributor to Teaming Agreements strategies.
- Coordinate the advanced vetting of prospective solutions with clients and adjust win strategy accordingly.
- Work with internal pricing and teammates on initial price to win strategies and models based upon current market conditions and competitive landscape.
- Proposal contributions may include development of past performance citations, transition plans, and technical/management/basis of estimate contributions (as appropriate).
- Actively contribute to color team reviews to enhance, refine and optimize proposal messaging and content.
- Other potential duties may include providing supplemental research and support to white papers, RFI/Sources Sought responses, proposals and other facets of the business development lifecycle and periodic travel for client and partners, as necessary.
Professional Experience and Skills:
- Expertise in current business development and capture best practices within the industry, analyzing solicitation requirements particularly within Sections C, L & M and the ability to develop unique strategies based on Evoke's market position.
- Expansive network of industry contacts to support teaming strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to collaborate across stakeholders (clients, functional teams, teammates and senior leadership) to elicit information necessary in a timely manner for the development of compelling technical and management solution content for written volumes and oral presentations.
- Extensive experience in Advisory and Assistance Services/Program Management Office solutions (e.g., Strategy, Organizational Change Management, Enterprise Architecture, Business Analysis, Capital Planning & Investment Control, Portfolio Management, etc.)
- Recent prior experience with DOD (i.e. Navy & USAF), VA, DHS, NIH, DOT, Treasury, or Commerce desired.
- Strong researcher, analytical mindset, and presentation delivery skills.
- Winning mindset comprised of positive attitude, high energy, detail-oriented, deadline-driven and ability to independently coordinate multiple activities at one time.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Education and Years of Experience:
- 10 years of demonstrated capture management experience in a government consulting/professional services environment. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of federal procurement processes, guidelines, contract types and timelines including but not limited to: FAR, DFAR, GSA MAS, GWACs, BPAs, IDIQs, NAICS.
- BA/BS degree from an accredited university.
- A comprehensive win/lost sheet detailing performance over the last five years with attributes to include, Agency, Opportunity Name (if not proprietary), Brief Scope Overview, Acquisition Strategy (e.g. Unrestricted, SDVOSB, 8(a), etc.), Contract Type, TCV, Quarter submitted, Candidate's role and Outcome. Preference for candidates with Unrestricted Wins and TCV over $75M in the Professional Services/Management Consulting market.

- Applicants selected must be eligible to work in the United States, be subject to a government security investigation, and meet eligibility requirements for access to protected information.
Work Location:
- Reston, VA or remote within National Capital Region with approval.
