Job Description
The Program Director is accountable for leading and executing core projects and programs in support of one or more of Prime’s market segments.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for the execution of operational plans for a complex set of programs and critical initiatives related to assigned market or line of service and for maintaining alignment and identifying interdependencies between all program level work efforts.
- Maintain and refine key market segments and strategies to ensure line of business market success.
- Collaborate with various business units, cross functional teams and key stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate and on budget implementation of market strategies.
- Provide comprehensive, accurate, timely and relevant market analysis and reporting to inform Prime’s management; Manage assessment, tracking and strategies necessary to take advantage of market opportunities.
- Promote specific line of business through active participation in internal and external communications, planning activities, trade shows, conferences etc.
- Manage products/programs and implement tools/enhancements to ensure new strategies are successfully developed and implemented; leverage new or existing tools to manage and cultivate new business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain business cases and materials to support new program opportunities/enhancements and performance target metrics.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Health Care Administration, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required.
- 8 years of analytic, account management, product development, project management or consultative experience within healthcare, PBM, specialty pharmacy, health care consulting or other highly regulated industry.
- 2 years of program management experience.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field.
Minimum Physical Job Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear.
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Reporting Structure
- Reports to Sr Principal, Sr Director, or VP in the Specialty Product or Sales, Government Programs, Market Segment Services or Operations, Planning & Delivery departments.
Potential pay for this position ranges from $109,000.00 - $174,000.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
