Job Description
Physician – Section Chief of Ophthalmology
-Current staffing: 1 Chief of Ophthalmology, 15 under reporting to Chief, ideally 5 Ophtha and 10 techs.
-As a Section Chief, 80% clinical and 20% administrative duties. This is a brand-new HCC ambulatory and Outpatient only facility.
-Currently, hiring for a non-academic position. Opportunities in the future to precept residents, medical students, nursing students, allied health students with academic affiliate partners.
Highlights of this position include:
- Potential starting base salary: $280,000 - $310,000
- Daily schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30pm
- No on call or weekend shifts
Additional requirements:
- Board certified or board eligible.
- MD/DO residency training program
- Can add additional affiliations and grow the program.
- Opportunity to build a dept due to new activation.
