- Supervisory IRS (Unit Chief) - Intelligence Division, OCDETF Fusion Center, Drug Intelligence Section, Drug Intelligence Unit A, Merrifield, VA.
- Supervisory IRS (Group Supervisor) - El Paso Division, Las Cruces District Office, Intelligence Group, Las Cruces, NM.
- Supervisory IRS (Group Supervisor) - Washington Division, Intelligence Group 1, Washington, D.C.
- Supervisory IRS (Group Supervisor) - New York Division (3 positions):
- Mission Support Group Trident-4, New York, NY
- Intelligence Group 2, New York, NY
- Intelligence Group 3, New York, NY
Among other duties, the incumbent will:
- Plans and directs the activities of staff in the collection, evaluation, production and dissemination of drug law enforcement intelligence.
- Oversees and plans the operations of an intelligence program with worldwide implications. Assesses unforeseen developments, new phenomena, and difficulties encountered.
- Initiates, plans, and evaluates broad and comprehensive research and analysis programs, procedures, and policies.
- Prepares and presents briefings to high-level federal, state, and local law enforcement representatives and to foreign dignitaries in regards to difficult, complex, and controversial drug trafficking issues.
- Performs the administrative and human resource management functions relative to the staff supervised.
- Establishes guidelines and performance expectations for staff members.
- May be required to testify during career as an Intelligence Research Specialist.
Salary$104,604 - $135,987/year
Conditions of Employment- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Background and/or Security Clearance

- Successful completion of a one-year supervisory probationary period is required (unless already completed)
- Successful completion of the mandatory Basic Intelligence Research Specialist Training Course.
QualificationsGS-14: Must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 Federal grade level performing such duties as providing direction and leadership to a multi-agency staff engaged in the collection, analysis, evaluation, production, and dissemination of drug law enforcement intelligence in support of drug law enforcement activities; and performing preliminary research, analysis and evaluation of raw intelligence data for segments of large research projects and studies.
