Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, WI is seeking a VICE PRESIDENT - CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Maintains, promotes, and connects people, both internally and externally, with a clear view of the mission, vision, and values of Aspirus.
- Shares responsibility for the ongoing transformation of the organization including leading the development and implementation of revenue enhancement and cost optimization plans.
- Champions programs and activities that contribute to a positive working environment leading to a highly engaged workforce.
- Actively participates and promotes system initiatives related to the Patient Experience.
- Holds employees accountable for the timely completion of system wide conditions of employment initiatives, online education, and policy and procedure compliance.
- Actively champions, participates, and deploys the Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) vision for the system.
- Leads in a manner to grow, develop, coach and mentor his/her direct reports. Develops leaders by defining roles/responsibilities, promoting continuous learning, education and training, and assessing performance.
- Supports Employee Health, Organizational Learning and Development and Talent Acquisition initiatives.
- Positively represents the organization in professional and community events.
- Exercises overall budget approval, development, and control within their business unit aligning operational outcomes regional and system goals.
- An integral, collaborative member of the Regional Executive team responsible for shared accountability for the overall success of the non-nursing clinical departments.
- Participates with the Senior Administrative staff in the evaluation of proposed programs ensuring successful and effective hospital development and management within approved policies.
- Provides executive leadership and decision-making authority in the absence of the President of a given Division.
Experience/Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in the following normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor of Science degree in a related field, master’s degree desired.
- Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare delivery, operations and financial management practices.
- 7-10 years of healthcare leadership experience including responsibility for clinical departments, program management, clinical outreach, quality, and process improvement is desired.
