Intellect, a leading provider of highly configurable Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality (EHSQ) software solutions, is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Sales to join our Executive Team and lead the Sales Team. This position will report to the CEO.
Our innovative platform caters to businesses across various sectors including electronics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, laboratories, government, automotive, energy, and chemical manufacturing. By leveraging our solutions, organizations can significantly reduce their Cost of Quality (CoQ), enhance operational excellence, and ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO, FDA, OSHA, EPA, and GxP regulations.
About the Role:
As the Vice President of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and revenue growth by leading the sales team and generating new business opportunities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the Sales Team, providing them with mentorship and training to ensure team success.
- Negotiating and closing deals.
- Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers to gain their trust and respect.
- Maintaining a strong level of proficiency in all products, including major benefits and features, with the ability to communicate the relationship of those benefits with real customer problems.
- Maintaining awareness of market conditions and competitors' products and pricing, ensuring up-to-date on knowledge of the company.
- Assisting the Marketing Team with refining messaging and positioning based on feedback from the market.
- Conducting presentations and demonstrations via the internet to potential customer’s audiences that are both technical and non-technical.
- Keeping management informed about opportunities and business development, while maintaining accurate customer and pipeline records within CRM software HubSpot.
- Submitting accurate and timely reporting on sales pipeline as required to executive management and board of directors.
- Regularly meeting with the Management Team
- Participating in quarterly meetings with the Board of Directors and quarterly Business Reviews with the Private Equity firm, Strattam Capital.
- Conducting regular one-on-one performance meetings with Sales Team members.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- At least 5 years of sales team leadership experience with complex sales to mid-size and enterprise companies
- At least 8 years of experience selling enterprise software and/or SaaS solutions required, preferably including QMS sales.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding Company sales quotas.
- A wide network of industry connections, including C-level executives, and sales team followers to draw from
- Demonstrated ability to consistently secure new business and acquire new clients.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, webinar technologies, and CRM tools such as HubSpot.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively in group settings.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts in an easily understandable manner.

This is a full-time, salaried, exempt, managerial role working at least 40 hours per week on a primarily remote basis. You will be expected to travel at least 10% of the time.
