Role Summary:
The Sales Leader is responsible to establish themselves as a trusted advisor and consultative partner to our clients and coalition, for the purpose of identifying, strategically pursuing, and closing business sufficient for market success. This person must become knowledgeable and capable of communicating CBI's value proposition (across all of CBI's 3 divisions - Workplace Consulting, Interior Construction, and Strategic Solutions) and connecting it in a compelling way to our client's needs. They are also responsible for managing a team of Account Managers and Sales Associates in order to drive business; lead a client through the consultative stages from identification to engagement; and ensure they are capable of managing the design and execution of a workplace project. It is the responsibility of this person to ensure the teams are hired, trained, aligned and staffed appropriately to support CBI's key objectives and goals. This leader manages Associate training and workload, as well as monitoring the quality of Associate's work and taking corrective action when necessary, in order to create an excellent client experience and deliver the targeted business results of the Market.
Responsibilities:
- Attract, retain, deploy and develop (organize, activate & motivate) the team to accomplish the mission
- Comfort contacting and building relationships with end users and coalition partners.
- Able to assess a market and develop the strategy and tactical execution to penetrate it.
- Comfort with and access to c-suite executives
- Conversant in general business operations and issues

- Experience in, or the ability to quickly understand, the commercial interiors market.

- Technical oversight to ensure accuracy in ordering, pricing, schedules and implementation.
- Provide leadership and coaching in ensuring associates are proficient in our various productivity tools.
- Onboard and equip new associates to ensure they develop in their roles.
- Monitor and effectively communicate Associate performance and development and ensure Associates adhere to CBI process and procedures.
- Manage workload balancing and capacity to deliver excellent but affordable services to our clients.
