The Technical Lead’s primary responsibility will be to act as the primary point of contact between the Managed Services division and a large health system client, managing the relationship as it relates specifically to managed services initiatives involving remediation, onboarding, backup, and ongoing support.
The Technical Lead will be involved with meetings, both onsite and virtually with practice managers, project managers, and members of client leadership and will be expected to manage multiple engagements happening concurrently.
The successful candidate must be a self-starter that relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and be able to work both autonomously and within a group to further the goal of building the relationship between the healthcare system and Managed Services.
This position may require availability during nights and weekends to assist with any critical outages or developing issues with this client, as well as any projects that are required to be completed outside of normal business hours.
Responsibilities
- Effectively monitor, communicate, and drive resolution on all client initiatives.
- Interface with Vendors/Engineering to develop solutions for existing client practices as well as practices going through the onboarding process.
- Responsible for writing Scopes of Work following our specified format for backup, managed support, and remediation projects as well as individual “one-off” projects.
- Ensure all client standards and policies are followed and implemented completely for all engagements.
- Maintain information on client sites including supported device counts, types of solutions, and report on changes on a quarterly basis.
- Provide data and slides for quarterly business reviews (QBR’s) as required. Participate and present information in these QBR’s as well.
- If the flow of work for client items reduces at all, the technical lead will assist the NOC with technical help for our other managed services clients, but at all times, the healthcare system will be the priority.
Qualifications

- Strong organizational skills, superior attention to detail and quality awareness, and professional demeanor.
- Multi-tasking and time management skills, strength at setting priorities, a problem solver and able to self-manage and self-motivate.
- Experience with Windows operating systems and Cisco network infrastructure equipment.
- Working knowledge of virtualization and SAN storage solutions.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft and Cisco’s Best Practices Policies.
- Knowledge and management of Cloud based applications.
- Solid understanding of Active Directory, DNS, group policies, Global Catalogs, Directory Replication and security for design and deployment in heterogeneous and homogenous environments.
