ArchWell Health is seeking a Director of Business Intelligence to lead our growing BI functions across the enterprise. This role will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic reporting and information distribution plan with the goal of leveraging BI to improve operations, drive growth and enhance the decision-making capabilities of ArchWell Health across all domains. An ideal candidate will be able to both jump in and help with report development as well as think at a bigger picture level on how BI is consumed at ArchWell Health.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead BI Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and execute a comprehensive BI strategy and roadmap aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Prioritize insights and initiatives for maximum impact on business outcomes.
- Manage and Grow a High-Performing BI Team: Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of BI professionals. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Partner with Stakeholders: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
- Manage SLAs, Dashboards & Data Visualizations: Establish and manage service level agreements (SLAs) for BI services. Develop and maintain intuitive dashboards and data visualizations to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Implement/Grow Best Practices: From work intake to change management to Power BI administration, apply data and system best practices to ensure an understandable well-run and scalable environment.
- Drive Actionable Insights & Recommendations: Utilize advanced analytics techniques to uncover actionable insights and recommendations that drive business growth and operational efficiency.
- Champion Data Governance & Self-Service Analytics: Ensure adherence to best practices in data governance, security, and compliance. Promote self-service analytics capabilities to empower users to access and analyze data independently.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in data shaping and how to organize information efficiently
- Experience in Power BI (or similar tool) including proper administration, distribution options and visualization methods.
- Able to work effectively in a matrix environment, leading cross-team engineering resources to work efficiently together.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and team development.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7+ years of SQL/Data Warehousing/BI Development
- 3+ years of BI Leadership
- Prior healthcare experience a plus but not required.
