Job Title: Chief Executive Officer
Classification: Full-Time, Exempt
Reporting Relationship: This position has a primary obligation to the Corporation as a whole and reports directly to the Board of Directors.

Essential Role: Responsible to the Board of Directors of GraceMed Health Clinic, Inc. for successful achievement of the mission and vision of the organization. Responsible for the overall performance, including clinical, administrative, financial, and governance functions and related activities for the purposes of attaining the goals and strategies as set forth by the Board of Directors. Provides strategic direction and leadership which promotes a healthy culture and embodiment of our Mission/Core Values through the supervision of personnel, appointment of management and delegation of authority and responsibility.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develops business strategies and plans to ensure the alignment of the organizational short-term and long-term objectives while adhering to the mission of GraceMed.
- Leads and motivates direct reports in the development of a high performing managerial team to continue the success and growth of the organization at all levels.
- Ensures legal and regulatory compliance across the organization with all relevant laws, regulations, and compliance standards of accrediting and partnering organizations.
- Serves as a facilitator of communication with the board, staff, patients, key community stakeholders, governmental/regulatory agencies, legislators, donors, and volunteers to advocate for and maintain cooperative relationships with all aspects surrounding GraceMed’s services.
- Responsible for general oversight of all organizational activities, providing direction for the day-to-day operations and ensuring a financially stable and efficient organization.
- Assures program quality (QA/QI) and organizational stability through development and implementation of standards and controls, systems and procedures, and regular evaluation, including patient/staff satisfaction and patient needs assessment.
- Oversees the financial operations of the organization and participates in transparent reporting to the Board, internal/external stakeholders, donors, and regulatory agencies on items such as budgeting, reporting, audits, capital expenditures, revenue streams, expenses, grants, and donations.
- Engages with local/state partners and is involved in community activities which promote the organization and bring awareness to GraceMed’s response to community needs. This includes building/maintaining relationships with current and potential donors, articulating the needs of the organization, and securing funding for critical initiatives and daily operations.
- Ensures the organization’s physical environment and staffing practices are adequately and appropriately utilized to meet the community needs.
- Promotes the mission, vision, and core values of GraceMed at all times.
- Is a non-voting ex-officio member of Board.
Qualifications:
Education/Certifications/Licenses/Registrations:
- Advanced degree in addition to a Bachelor’s Degree required.
Experience:
- Five years previous community health care experience required.
- Five years of senior level leadership experience required.
- Experience working with a Board of Directors is preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of modern office practices and ability to organize and report information through electronic means.
- Ability to work independently, problem solve, and meet deadlines.
Behavioral:

- Must display strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey a professional and positive image of the organization.
