Strategy
• Be the internal consultant to business for strategic decisioning requiring data analytics by participating in various forums / aquads for exchange of ideas / business priorities / presenting self-initiated product deep dives in these discussions.
Business
• Proven track record with one or more analytics technology stacks as well as familiarity with a broad range of solutions for visualisation, advanced analytics, data ingestion/transformation.
• Provide analytics and customer insights to support business decisions and for better targeting via the delivery of use cases across:
- Customer Acquisition/X-sell/Engagement
- Customer and product profitability
- Campaign performance measurement and optimization
• Perform deep dive data analytics to drive end-to-end campaign effectiveness and overall financial performance KPI’s.
• Develop powerful dashboards to communicate insights and create impactful presentations for the Business.
• Manage adhoc management analytics-related requests and deliver within required timelines.

• Responsible for updating, sharing, and execution of end-to-end analytics processes while working closely with all key stakeholders.
People & Talent
• Partner and collaborate effectively with various teams to deliver the agreed KPI’s.
• Acquire new skills by adopting continuous learning to leverage best in class data analytics tools and technologies.
Risk Management
• Achieve strong control in documentation, process, EUC, system assessment.
• Ensure Security & Data Privacy guidelines are adhered to in all deliverables.

Governance
• Awareness and understanding of the Data Governance framework, in which the Group, country & department operates, to meet the required data quality standards and expectations relevant to the role.

• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Key stakeholders
• The role requires close partnership with Singapore Wealth and Retail Banking (WRB) country product heads, segments team, digital sales & marketing team (DSM), platform team and other group/global stakeholders including global data team & center of excellence (COE) for all analysis requirements pertaining to retail & wealth products / segments.
• Business Units: Segments, Retail Products, Wealth Management Products, Digital Sales & Marketing Team (DSM), Channel Team including Customer Acquisition, Customer Relationship, Client Care Centre and Digital Banking.
• Group Team: SBIM & SCMAC for reporting, data democratization, AI Modelling related deliverables reporting and analytics.
• IT on report automation projects and database related requirements.
Our Ideal Candidate
• University Degree or equivalent, preferably in computer science, engineering or analytical discipline, e.g. mathematics, statistics, IT, economics, finance, accounting.
• 10 plus years working experience in Data, Analytics and CRM in the financial/banking sector.
• Deep technical knowledge of using data to drive actionable insights on customer segmentation, portfolio analytics, financial products, channel analytics to drive business KPI’s.
• Proven experience delivering Data, Analytics and CRM infrastructure and tooling initiatives, including campaign management, marketing optimizations as well as Advanced Analytics tooling which will enable ML/AI services.
Role Specific Technical Competencies
Experience in processing and analysis of large amounts of data using SQL, SAS, Python.
Data Visualization: Tableau or Microsoft PowerBI or MicroStrategy (MSTR).
Statistical/Data Science Tools: Dataiku, Databricks, Python, Jupyter.
Data Management & Storage: Hortonworks Data Platform, Cloudera, Teradata Data Warehousing etc.
