Job Description
Join our team as the Director of Rooms and become one of the authors of our story. The Director of Rooms will oversee all aspects of the Ranch House Operation (Front Desk, Bell/Valet, PBX, Concierge/Itinerary Design) and Housekeeping. The Director of Rooms will lead with our ENRICH values thereby creating and supporting a cohesive team and will be key in building interdepartmental collaboration.

Core Responsibilities
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates. The key responsibilities for this position are:
- Lead by example and uphold brand standards, target guest needs, and ensure team member engagement.
- Provide strategic and hands-on leadership to oversee all areas of both Front and Heart of House Rooms Division to success in achievement of team member engagement, NPS, and financial goals. Areas of responsibility include:
- Ranch House - front desk operations & guest relations
- Ranch Hands - Bell/Valet
- Itinerary Design/Concierge
- Beehive - PBX
- Housekeeping
- Recruit, develop & mentor department leaders in each of the above noted areas.
- Oversee and maintain operations to ensure performance at the highest level of guest satisfaction and service excellence.
- Create an elevated and distinctive experience for our guests while providing day-to-day leadership and guidance to team members.
- Serve as a thoughtful operator with an ability to manage both short and long-term financial objectives, adding value and managing outcomes through a balanced lens.
- Maintain and champion the Auberge Resorts Collection Culture on property.
- Maintain knowledge of market trends, property systems, and standards.
- Targeted compensation range - $150,000 - $160,000 annually on an exempt basis + incentive.
Qualifications
- Three or more years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry.
- Strong aptitude in financial management, financial reports, and analysis.
- Demonstrated track record of strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual
- Prior experience in the Napa Valley
