About the role:
We seek a dynamic and strategic Procurement Manager, Maersk Ground Freight to lead procurement efforts, secure capacity at competitive rates, and drive profitable growth in the U.S. market. This role is critical to developing cost-effective, best-in-class supply chain solutions and building strong supplier relationships.
In this role, you will:
Develop and execute a category strategy for cost leadership and superior service levels.
Collaborate with Category Leads, Product, and Operations teams to support competitive supply chain solutions.
Implement a robust Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program to secure market-leading rates.
Coordinate RFQ events and provide market intelligence to guide procurement and go-to-market strategies.
Build Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models to benchmark suppliers and solutions.
Foster strong strategic supplier relationships and ensure high-service delivery.
What you bring:
Bachelor's degree
5+ years in transportation or supply chain, with experience in LTL/FCL preferred.
Background in procurement or vendor management is a plus.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to thrive in a matrix organization with a strategic and data-driven mindset.
Job Type: Full Time
Salary: $ 90,000 – 117,000*
Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401k Match.
The above-stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors, such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
