Job Summary
Action for Children (AFC) is seeking a dynamic and experienced CEO to lead our organization in its mission to provide high-quality early childhood education and family support services to communities in Central Ohio. The CEO will be responsible for leading the organization's overall strategy, operations, and growth, while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, staff, and partners.

Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., early childhood education, public policy, non-profit management, business administration)
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role in early care and education, social services, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in building relationships with stakeholders, overseeing the development of programs, and management of budgets
- Strong understanding of early childhood education policy and research
- Experience working with underserved communities and families
- Excellent communication, leadership, and management skills
- Ability to think strategically, problem-solve creatively, and make data-driven decisions
- Strong numeracy skills in finance and budgeting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., early childhood education, public policy, non-profit management, business administration)
- Experience working in a non-profit organization or government agency
- Familiarity with Central Ohio politics and government processes
- Experience recruiting and developing talent for senior leadership positions
