Position: Project Director - Finance & Grants
Location: 645 New London Ave, Cranston, RI
Contract: Multi-Year Contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday (40 hours per week), One day per week remote, remainder onsite
This position is an integral part of the Grants and Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administering federal grants in an emergency management environment. Some college preferred; however, grants experience is the primary focus.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the drafting of cybersecurity-related grant program applications (investment justifications / work plans) and supporting applicants throughout the application process.
- Collaborating in the development of financial forecasts (budgets / allocations) and facilitating grant program roll-out meetings (virtual / in-person).
- Reviewing and scoring grant project applications in an impartial manner.
- Assisting in the completion of RIEMA quarterly and semi-annual reporting (FEMA GO), the Bi-annual Strategy Implementation Report (BSIR), and grant program amendments.
- Assisting with the collection of grant-specific data for State/Federal audits.
- Creating sub-recipient grant award statements and grant award letters.
- Collecting sub-recipient quarterly and semi-annual reports.
- Auditing sub-recipient requests for reimbursement (payroll / procurement procedures).
- Reviewing sub-recipient requests for POP extensions and funding reallocations.
- Collecting data and submissions related to the National Cybersecurity Review (NCSR) for cybersecurity-related programs.
- Assisting with drafting grant project amendments and determinations.
- Drafting sub-recipient communications (close-outs / de-obligations / approvals).
- Conducting virtual sub-recipient desk audit reviews and in-person site visits to project locations (inspection of work / equipment inventory).
- Updating tracking information related to sub-recipient documentation and reimbursements.
- Confirming adherence to 2 CFR 200.0 - 200.521, policies in grant award assurances, the RI State Purchasing Policy, FEMA's Authorized Equipment List, and program-specific requirements (trainings / certifications).
- Completing all required State and Federal trainings.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
