Director of Events & Sales for one of Florida's Most Exciting Party & Event Companies!

Location: Sunrise, FL (near University Dr. Sunrise Blvd)
Schedule: Full-time, somewhat flexible 45 Hr. weeks (which includes Event Leadership on weekends)
Compensation: Attractive Base Salary + Performance-Based Bonuses
About Us: A Hot Party produces over 300 events annually, ranging from Casino Nights and Galas to Major Corporate Events and exclusive Private Parties. We deliver a broad array of entertainment services, including Music, Lighting, Decor, Variety Entertainment, Complete Theme Production, Casino Nights, and Haunted Houses. Our events typically range from $2,500 to $25,000, with many clients in the $30,000 to $80,000 range. We have a strong repeat customer base across South Florida’s tri-county area (Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami) because of the personal attention and love we put into each event we produce. Position Overview: We are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Director of Events & Sales. This unique position combines two critical functions:
- Sales and Client Communications during the week
- Event Set-Up & Logistics Management on weekends
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and motivated business professional who can seamlessly transition from closing deals to executing flawless events as the on-site, Hands-On Logistics Manager. This is a physically demanding position that requires carrying equipment and setting up and breaking down events with other teammates.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Client Communications:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new leads, existing clients, and industry partners.
- Learn our catalog of services and effectively sell to new clients.
- Provide superior customer service, ensuring client needs are met from initial contact through event completion.
Event Management:
- Translate client contracts into well-organized, beautifully executed events.
- Handle the logistics of event set-up, including managing the loading/unloading of equipment and directing performers.
- Drive our 12' box truck to/from events, ensuring the proper care and condition of all equipment.
- Entertain clients and guests as a Casino Dealer, Event Supervisor, Theme Character or other role as needed.
- Network with talent and other event professionals, both on and off-site.
Qualifications:
- Experience in sales and client communications, preferably within the event industry.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Clean driving record and ability to drive a 12' box truck.
- Flexibility to work weekends and late nights as needed.
- Special event set-up experience is a plus, but not required.
- Must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Compensation: $52,000 - $82,000 yearly
