Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to lead our sales efforts for Hannah Pet Hospital, a growing chain of veterinary hospitals. This role focuses on selling monthly subscription plans that offer comprehensive veterinary care packages. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, subscription-based sales, and a passion for animal health and welfare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive subscription plan sales across all veterinary hospital locations.
- Identify target markets and create strategies to reach potential customers effectively.
- Set sales goals and objectives, and track progress towards achieving them.
- Team Leadership:
- Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
- Provide ongoing training and development to ensure the team has the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with current and potential customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Oversee customer service processes to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service offerings.
- Market Analysis and Research:
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and areas needing improvement.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on sales performance and market conditions.
- Sales Operations:
- Oversee the development of sales materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content.
- Ensure that all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Manage the sales budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize return on investment.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and events.
- Collaborate with the operations and clinical teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to subscription customers.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including hospital managers, veterinarians, and corporate leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience as a Sales Director or in a similar senior sales role, preferably in the healthcare or veterinary industry.
- Demonstrated success in selling subscription-based products or services.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make strategic decisions.
