We are hiring a Director of Admissions to join our dynamic care team at Orchard View Manor in East Providence!
The center is a 166-bed skilled nursing facility.

As the Director of Admissions, you direct the planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and overall operations of all admissions.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Marketing/Sales or a related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in a skilled nursing facility or Assisted Living facility.
- Thorough knowledge of local, state, and federal rules and regulations as they pertain to admissions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all admissions to facility in accordance with budgeted census projections.
- Represent the facility to potential residents, families, hospitals, and other referral sources in a positive and professional manner.
- Coordinate all admission activities and documentation with all departments.
- Know and comply with facility Privacy Practices policies and procedures and educate residents and families accordingly.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Act as a liaison between facility and all community groups and agencies.
- Work with Administrative staff to plan, develop, and implement facility marketing plan.
- Utilize appropriate sales/marketing techniques (i.e., public speaking, community workshops, cold calling, facility events, media coverage, etc.).
- Maintain budgeted census mix.
- Ensure detailed completion of all admission, discharge, and transfer records manually as well as computer generated. Knowledge of admission software and ability to utilize efficiently is required.
- Provide ongoing assistance to potential residents and their families in negotiating a successful placement.
