Job DescriptionDirector, Personalization ArchitectThe RoleFidelity Workplace Investing (WI) is seeking an experienced architect in the Data & AI/ML Architecture group to support the Personalization and Experimentation product area. Personalization, a key pillar of our Digital Strategy, uses industry-leading platforms to deliver experiment-based, algorithm and AI/ML driven experiences to customers to help achieve their financial and health wellness objectives. Personalization solutions are cross-business initiatives to advance Fidelity’s Customer and Client journeys. You will be architecting and helping implement cloud and API based, self-service rules authoring UI and recommendation engines. You will also be working across business units and Enterprise Technology teams partnering with business leaders, architecture, and engineering to influence our core and common strategy and deliver these foundational capabilities.
The Expertise And Skills You Bring
- Education – Bachelors or Masters degree required.
- 10+ years of professional technology experience with a minimum of 5+ years of architecture experience in the Data and Digital space.
- Demonstrated experience architecting highly scalable experiences, services, or content recommendation or orchestration engines.
- Experience in Web (Angular, Vue.js) and Mobile (iOS, Android) delivering highly available and scalable front ends.
- Knowledge of GraphQL and experience in creating and managing GraphQL APIs.
- Experience working on low latency NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, Aerospike, Cassandra.
- Experience developing enterprise applications and data solutions in the cloud – Azure/AWS.
- Experience working with data engineers and data scientists to implement AI/ML models and deploying them on ML platform AWS SageMaker.
- Working knowledge of Spring Boot, Microservices, Docker, Jenkins, and REST APIs.
- Strong experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, and working knowledge of Spring Boot, Microservices, Docker, Jenkins, and REST APIs.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills with the ability to communicate complex designs and solutions to non-technical and highly technical audiences alike.
