Reporting to the SVP of Distribution and Field Support, you will maximize the effectiveness of our Sales & Distribution teams. You will develop and implement systematic learning and development solutions focused on important systems and sales processes, which are necessary for advancing our business. This includes training programs, job aids, eLearning, and interactive course content. In addition to creating these learning solutions, you will ensure that all training programs align with our brand standards and are consistent with sales strategies and global curricula. You will also oversee every aspect of the learning solutions, including project management, content creation, and training facilitation.
Job Description
CONTENT AND DESIGN
- Manage the team that is responsible for the rollout and application of Red Bull global sales framework and curriculum into Red Bull North America (RBNA) and Red Bull Distribution Company (RBDC).
- Lead the identification and creation of Sales and Distribution training program(s) focused on core skill development across Sales & Distribution disciplines, with a focus on competitive differentiation.
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate North America specific curriculum while aligning with Red Bull framework around Sales and Talent Development.
- Engage leadership in the organization to increase understanding and adoption of the goals of all training activities.
- Partner with Sales and Distribution to identify knowledge and skill gaps, lead the build of custom training solutions, and ensure facilitation.
- Conduct research to determine strategies for future learning and development solutions.
BUSINESS PARTNERSHIPS AND ENGAGEMENT
- Be the ambassador to the Sales Athlete program amongst all levels of the sales organization.
- Align with leadership to build market specific learning systems solutions, partnering with global Sales partners.
- Collaborate with diverse Subject Matter Experts, partners, and vendors across geographies on goals, course content and communication strategy; manage scope and development time.
- Recommend or use vendor programs that meet instructional goals.
- Establish expectations with leadership on processes within the Key Account, Insights, Distribution, and Field Sales organizations.
TRAINING DELIVERY AND ENABLEMENT
- Coach and develop your team.
- Improve program acceptance within sales organization, through feedback and manager engagement and directly engaging leadership of the organization including BUs and Regions.
- Promote field-based training programs where deemed necessary.
- Provide guidance and training all important resources and productivity tools.
PLANNING AND MEASUREMENT
- Plan and manage annual RBNA and RBDC Sales training budget.
- Partner with RBNA Talent to design and implement evaluation metrics to produce results on training effectiveness.
- Manage our annual Sales Training calendar and delivery timeline based on important organizational milestones including new hires, ongoing and progressive training, annual meetings, and launches.
- Establish metrics/assessments to measure performance of learning solutions.
- Implement processes to collect information on post-program behavior adoption of learners to support training managers.
- Align with team members to establish and maintain metrics to monitor performance of the learning solutions effect on post-training behavior change and results.
- Evaluate data and combine insights on effectiveness, recommend training, systems, or process modifications.
- Assess instructor performance and learning programs to recommend improvements to learning content and instructor presentation methods; may recruit additional instructors from the sales organization.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Sales development, commercial training, and Sales/Insights Leadership.
- 5+ years of previous sales/account management experience.
- CPG industry or Beverage experience.
- Experience in curriculum development, content generation, training delivery, long-distance learning tools and techniques, gamification, and practical knowledge of CRM, LMS systems.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Must be fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage.
Additional Information
The base salary range for this position is $177,000 to $196,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
