We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer.
In this role you will work in a small but growing team of varying levels of experience to design, develop, and support a custom Web-focused application. The system is used globally in multiple factories and across workstreams, providing a variety of critical business functions centered around product quality, manufacturing execution, and supply chain. You will develop core backend infrastructure and devops automation, front-end user interfaces for data tracking and validation, and visualizations to support data-driven decision making.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct work activities and demonstrate behavior consistent with DuPont Core Values.
- Build and maintain the code base of a complex custom quality / manufacturing execution system.
- Design and develop new feature requirements using Test-Driven development practices.
- Interface and maintain connectivity between the system and external corporate systems within DuPont such as SAP.
- Foster and support junior developers.
Your Qualification Profile:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software development for manufacturing or related industry.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong team player with experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Self-starter with systematic decision making, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Eager to learn and support the innovation strategy and desire to work on transformational projects.
- Expertise with C# Microsoft dotnet, PowerShell, Python, NodeJS/Vue, and SQL.
- Experience with object relational mapping.
- Knowledge of common UX principles.
- Experience with process data historians, LIMS, SAP.
- Experience with OPC, serial, or TCP communication.
- Knowledge of statistics.
- Experience with R, machine learning, PowerBI.

The Pay range for this role is $90,930.00 - $142,890.00 Annual.
How Base Pay is Determined:
DuPont has job leveling frameworks that help organize roles based on progressive levels of responsibility, proficiency and qualifications. Each role has an associated pay range (or an established pay rate for some roles) based on the competitive market in each country where we operate. Each individual’s pay is based on a variety of factors, including their role and the associated pay range for that role, their geographic location (i.e., country, state, metropolitan area), as well as their skills, experience, education and certifications, and performance.
