Courage to Connect Mental Health Center is seeking a Licensed Clinician for the position of Assistant Clinical Director. This role will support our rapidly growing organization and offers the opportunity to be part of the administrative team, supporting the clinical program for multiple sites and managing a clinical caseload.
The Assistant Clinical Director position will be a multi-faceted role requiring excellent leadership, supervision, organization, development, and growth of all centers. The Assistant Clinical Director in conjunction with the Clinical Director will be responsible for the clinical leadership within the organization, including overseeing the management of 40 + individual therapists, reviewing treatment plans and notes, creating group therapy curriculums, crisis management, risk assessment, and supporting all clinical services provided by psychological testing, counseling team and Psychiatry team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a caseload of 15 patients and meet minimum weekly billing requirements
- Support the Clinical Director and ECD in managing all aspects of Clinical side of the practice.
- Serve as ongoing Primary Supervisor for associate level therapists and interns, signing off on all clinical observations and supervisory notes.
- Develop onboarding and training materials for all newly hired clinicians.
- Conduct Training and Orientation for new hire clinician cohorts
- Responsible for planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problem, performance improvement plans, termination.
- Oversee therapists in the associate therapy program and adherence to their agreed upon job responsibilities and responsibilities.
- Work closely with the operations team and leadership to develop and implement improvement initiatives and change as needed to enhance the quality of care and services.
- Facilitate bi-monthly department meetings to maintain streamlined operational workflow and integration of new policies, procedures, systems, or changes in program structure.
- Support therapy providers in facilitating and documenting proper assessments, recommendations, and referrals.
- Responsible for maintaining recruitment needs for specified clinic including; interviewing, hiring, training therapists.
- Maintain up-to-date liability insurance, license, employee files etc.
- Manage Medical Record Requests
- Partner with billing team and intake team to provide support to clinician on any questions or training needed
- Participate in growth initiatives to provide a variety of specialized care for all clients.
- Consistently adhere to HIPAA and APA guidelines for proper implementation of ethical, legal, and cultural standards of care
Experience:
- Master’s Degree or above in areas of Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Hold the following licenses: LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, PhD
- Minimum of five (3-5) years’ experience in psychiatric or mental health field
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in advanced clinical management or leadership of practice setting preferred.
- Experience working with Mental Health and Psychiatry Team
