JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Asset Management will lead the creation and ongoing operations of Quinn’s Asset Management initiative across our internally managed Southeast focused Build-to-Rent (BTR) platform. This role includes a large amount of cross-functional work and exposure to senior leadership including the C-Suite.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and lead Quinn’s Asset Management department including development of best practices and procedures
- Regularly update senior leadership on current and potential initiatives
- Identify underperforming assets and develop mitigation strategies
- Contribute to the strategic capital allocation within the existing portfolio
- Create, execute and evaluate property level business plans including ownership of budget forecasting and recasting
- Maintain and update project summary financials for internal reporting
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned by senior leadership
- Travel as needed to visit portfolio and competitor communities
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 5-10 years of commercial real estate experience (preferably Multifamily, manufactured housing or single-family rental)
- Ability to coordinate and execute cross-functional work
- Ability to concisely communicate findings and opinions to senior leadership
- BA or BS from accredited institution
- Fluency across MS Office suite of products and Yardi
- Ability to show ownership of work, embrace challenges and recognize growth opportunities
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize competing work streams
