Job Description:
As a Chief of Staff, you will support our Co-Founder/COO in driving the growth and efficiency of his team. This role is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who is looking for a front-row seat to the inner workings of a rapidly scaling company. The ideal candidate is a proactive thinker, a reliable executor, excellent problem-solver, and someone who is eager to learn the ins and outs of running a business with the intention of becoming an entrepreneur in the future.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strategic Support: Work closely with the COO to understand strategic goals. Act as a key liaison internally, ensuring that COO’s vision and directives are clearly communicated and executed across teams.
- Project Coordination: Oversee and coordinate multiple projects across departments (Sales, Customer Success, Solutions Consulting, Training & Enablement). Ensure initiatives stay on track, identify and address bottlenecks.
- Reporting and Accountability: Help develop and maintain reporting systems that provide the COO with insights into key functions, particularly in Sales and Customer Success operations. Ensure data accuracy, and create accountability among team members for inputting and utilizing this data effectively.
- Support Procurement, Vendor, and Partner Activities: Serve as the first line of defense for reviewing documents, including but not limited to NDAs, terms of service, contracts, and program terms. Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and provide recommendations to the COO.
- Documentation and Process Creation: Document processes, meeting outcomes, and project plans. Clearly communicate and publish these processes to enhance organizational clarity and accountability.
What You Bring:
- 3+ years in strategic executive support; experience supporting sales is a huge plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship, Business, or a related field. Graduate-level education or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to translate high-level goals into actionable tasks.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on clarity and documentation.
- A detail-oriented approach to reviewing documents and fine print.
- Proactive and self-driven with a strong sense of accountability and reliability.
- Highly resourceful team player who can also operate with exceptional effectiveness independently.
- Capacity for innovative thinking and adaptability, crucial in a growing company.
