Director, Business Operations
General Profile: Provides leadership and direction through managers. Is accountable for the performance and results of a region or related job families. Executes segment/functional business plans and contributes to the development of segment/functional strategy. Decisions are guided by segment/functional strategy and priorities. Directs and controls the activities of a broad functional area.
Key Responsibilities
- Directs and is responsible for all business issues across account site including customer satisfaction and budget management.
- Anticipates future customer needs and directs the delivery of customer install commitments and the development and implementation of solutions to customer's high value problems.
- Is the primary interface to the site account on all install commitments. Interfaces with internal and external customers on business and operational issues involving the company's install commitments.
- Works with senior business group management team to ensure that programs, strategies, and processes address high value problems for the Install Team and are aligned with the organization’s direction.
- Provides approval guidelines and leadership to reporting managers in long-term program, strategy, and process design.
- Defines performance metrics and reports on the site's progress against business unit and account specific goals.
- Leads team to deliver cross-functional execution of divisions' programs to meet and exceed objectives and financial goals.
- Manages and develops individual employees and may manage managers. Tracks and adjusts OPEX (operating expense) spending in alignment with project plans and spending targets.
- Ensures that AOP, financial, and product objectives are met. Responsible for business process creation and continuous improvement within the BU.
- Drives division level coordination of business continuity planning, crisis management, and safety compliance including lab safety practices.
- Ensures customer satisfaction with Company service and system performance.
- Interviews, hires, and trains project managers as necessary to support regional business.
- Escalates system coverage gaps according to valid escalation procedure, to ensure earliest possible solution.
- Reports in a timely and accurate manner as required.
- Promotes quality improvement processes to reduce cycle time and drive continuous improvement of technical performance.
- Empowers the workforce. Responsible for following departmental procedures to safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of themselves and those around them who may be affected by their acts or omissions.

U.S. Salary Range: $168,000.00 - $231,000.00
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
