About the team:
The successful candidate will join the Analytics Segment of the SimCorp Product and Development Organization, working with the Axioma team in the development of its multi-asset class risk reporting and portfolio construction capabilities.

We believe in building quality into every aspect of our business, and we are now seeking a visionary Senior Product Manager to join us.
You need to be an expert and innovator on SimCorp’s target market in terms of buy-side investment risk and portfolio construction. Understand desired outcomes, competitive landscape, and market trends across all asset types including private markets.
You will know how Axioma’s solutions play a unique part in both the front and middle office and maintain a deep understanding of where the financial services and technology industry is moving.
You will use your expertise in this area to create a market-leading Product Vision, Strategy, Value Propositions, and you will work with our development, commercial and delivery teams to implement that vision.
Your responsibilities:
- Product Manage Axioma’s multi-asset class risk models offering with a significant focus on our offering in private markets
- Accountable for the management of product lifecycle from research, discovery, business case approval, development, launch and implementation
- Work closely with research, engineering, specialists and our commercial organization to create a product roadmap
- Take ownership of delivery of the roadmap, managing a set of KPIs to help track and measure outcome
- Be willing to get involved in testing and sign-off of your products
- Understand risks in the industry related to multi-asset class risk reporting and portfolio construction and be able to explain how our platform solves these challenges
- Accountable for the positive results of products, measured by commercial results and client outcome metrics
- Work with Go to Market team to assist them in comprehending product value proposition and aligning competitive positioning and market development
- Define product improvements based on market and client feedback
- Measure KPIs during product launches and when monitoring performance
- Follow the industry best practices to ensure to meet the customer goals. Developing relationships with prospects and vendors
What we value:
- Significant market risk experience across asset classes, including knowledge of portfolio construction processes and optimisation
- Deep knowledge of private markets, understanding how these markets function and challenges faced in modelling this asset class
- Deep knowledge of multi-factor, multi-asset class risk models and their application.
- Experience in Financial Technology Product Development
- Understanding of the competitive landscape and market opportunity
- Agile-certified product manager or product owner certification is beneficial
- Knowledge of Python, SQL and other scripting languages is beneficial
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, as you must communicate regularly with stakeholders, product owners, and different departments within the organization
