Hospitalist – Alice Hyde Medical Center (Malone, NY)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospitalist to join our dynamic medical team. As a Hospitalist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to our patients within our hospital setting, ensuring their well-being and efficient management throughout their stay.

Responsibilities:

Work full time on a 5 on 10 off schedule. 5 on is 24 hours (7am – 7pm in house, 7pm-7am consists of call coverage from your home within reasonable proximity to the hospital).
Provide expert medical care to an average of 15-20 patients per day during day shifts.
Work alongside a dedicated supporting staff that includes hospitalists and APPs, contributing to comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams to develop and implement treatment plans, manage patient conditions, and ensure patient progress.
Contribute to patient education and family communication, ensuring that patients and their families are informed about diagnoses, treatment plans, and expectations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, documenting patient care and treatment outcomes.
Involvement with teaching & mentoring students.

Qualifications:

Medical degree (MD or DO) with specialization in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is required.
Valid and unrestricted medical license in NY (or ability to obtain).
Proven expertise in diagnosing and managing a variety of medical conditions.
Strong clinical acumen and diagnostic skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication with patients, medical staff, and interdisciplinary teams.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Dedication to patient-centered care and maintaining the highest standards of medical practice.

Salary: $346,228
