The Role
The primary responsibilities of this role encompass the strategic design and comprehensive management of enterprise-wide release pipeline workflows. The focus will be on the implementation of integrated automation solutions to drive productivity enhancements, minimize errors, and optimize operational efficiency. Key duties include:
- Automation Strategy, Development and Execution: The Sr. Manager of DevOps Integration and Automation will formulate and execute a robust automation strategy leveraging cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices. This involves the design and deployment of automation frameworks that align with IT policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to security protocols and operational efficiency. This role will support all areas of the SDLC life cycle, Infrastructure as Code, and AI/prompt engineering.
- Performance Metrics and Analysis: Establish and monitor performance metrics to derive actionable insights. This includes the deployment and testing of automation tools and processes to meet stringent performance and reliability benchmarks.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Leadership: Utilize advanced technical expertise and strong leadership capabilities to engage, influence, and collaborate with stakeholders. This role is responsible for defining, prioritizing, and executing service level and project delivery commitments in accordance with agreed-upon SLAs.
- Productivity and Quality Enhancement: Provide recommendations to boost productivity while maintaining high quality standards post-deployment. This involves continuous technical research and performance evaluation against established standards and expected outcomes.
The individual in this role must demonstrate a high level of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to effectively drive automation initiatives and achieve operational excellence.
What you'll do
- Drive automation strategies and solutions to ensure the performance, reliability, security, and efficiency of our CI/CD pipelines.
- Design, configure, and manage cloud resources and infrastructure as code to support applications throughout the software development life cycle.
- Drive process improvements to ensure system scalability and reliability.
- Manage, monitor, and improve communication between the developmental and operational aspects of the software development process. Create integrations to improve the customer's experience.
- Research, design, and develop automation and integration solutions in emerging technologies such as generative AI.

Required Qualifications/Experience
- MS/BS in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field and/or equivalent experience.
- 15+ years of experience as a technical IT professional.
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps and Release Management.
- 5+ years of experience in a technology leadership role.
- 5+ years of experience in design, architecting, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong experience in cloud design and strategy.
- AWS DevOps Professional certification.
- Strong experience in agile software development life cycle.
- Strong leadership presence and influencing skills.
- Strong experience working on large-scale, enterprise-wide projects.
- Strong experience in SDLC and release management processes and methodologies.
- Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Strong experience in CI/CD tools such as Cloudbees Jenkins, Ant, and Maven.
- Strong experience in Containerization tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong experience in Release tools such as Plutora, Cloudbees CDRO.
- Strong experience in Management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Strong experience in AWS cloud services and technologies.
- Strong experience in web technologies.
- Experience in Code Quality tools such as SonarQube and CheckMarx.
- Experience in Version Control tools such as Github and PVCS.
- Experience in ITMS tools such as Assyst, Service Now, Remedy.
- Experience in Gen-AI prompt engineering.
- Experience in Content Management tools such as Adobe Experience Manager.
- Experience with various software development estimation techniques.
