As a VP, Creative Technology -- Americas, you will hold a key, senior-level position that sits within the Global Creative Technology team at dentsu. Reporting into the Global CTO of Dentsu Creative, you will be the go-to contact for teams looking to develop creative solutions for our internal teams and clients, guiding the process and providing knowledge on how to bring these to life. You will work closely with the Technical Delivery Center of Excellence (CoE) to funnel these opportunities to our network of engineering teams.
As our agencies look for more innovative solutions to our clients challenges, you will have, and continue to develop, a broad understanding of the latest in AI and innovation technology to provide best-in-class guidance to our teams, building strong internal and external relationships.
Job Description
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, YOU MUST RESIDE ON THE US EAST COAST (based on travel requirements).
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop groundbreaking ideas and concepts that leverage emerging technology tools including, but not limited to; Generative AI, AR/VR/MR, 3D game engines.
- You will support our agency partners with triaging creative opportunities to the right teams and partners.
- You will work as key member of the CoE team to deliver customer technology and transformation projects for our current and prospective clients, acting as technical partner to the rest of team across projects.
- You will work closely with the CoE Global team on incoming opportunities and help with the assignment to the best placed engineering team.
- You will support CoE engineering teams in the management of multiple projects/sprints simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met, and deliverables are of the highest quality.
- You will educate internal teams on the CoE and their capabilities.
- You will take ownership of the PoC and prototyping process, transforming creative concepts into tangible experiences.
- You will work closely with designers, developers, and client internal teams to foster a collaborative environment that encourages creative thinking and enables seamless integration into existing infrastructure and systems.
- You will collaborate, learn and build with technology partners; both scaled such as Google, Microsoft and Nvidia plus start-ups leveraging dentsu's network of venture investments.
- You will maintain thorough documentation of projects, processes and outcomes, and communicate project status and results effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
- You will stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in emerging technology tools and techniques, bringing your expertise to bear on projects to ensure cutting-edge solutions.
- You will build strong relationships with innovation and product management peers to meet the business goals and strengthen the company's differentiation strategies.
- You will establish and strengthen relationships with all of our internal agency partners across practice areas (Creative, Media, CXM).
- You will provide regular reports and updates to Global CTO as well as collateral for exec updates.
- You will create and distribute tailored local guidelines and documentation where necessary.
Qualifications
- You will have at least 10 years of creative technology or similar experience.
- You will have a Bachelor's Degree.
- You will have experience in an advertising agency, marketing firm, creative services, production house, digital agency or combination thereof.
- You will have an understanding of what motivates, inspires and stifles creative teams.
- You will have experience working with generative AI tools.
- You will have a creative mindset balanced with technical skills, and passion exploring the intersection.
- You will have familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite and 3D Game Engines such as Unity, Unreal.
- You will have familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
- You will have experience in building, documenting and sharing strategic product roadmaps.
- You will have the ability to present complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-technical audiences.
Additional Information
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $113,000-$182,000. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The company’s incentive compensation plan is subject to change.
