Position Overview:
Working closely with FORTNA’s CFO and senior business leaders, this key role is charged with empowering the LPS business to achieve financial objectives and managing operational and financial processes. The Director, Finance – LPS must understand the operations of the business and how the financial systems, accounting, capital structure, and operating policies all interrelate to help ensure the business achieves both short and long-term goals. The ideal candidate will be able to articulate past results with a strong focus on how to project and enhance future results. This individual will guide the development of a financial strategy to include revenue, profit, balance sheet, and cash flow maximization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage internal financial and business reporting to provide management with timely information to facilitate decisions and drive performance.
- Work with business leadership to establish annual financial targets and monitor the business’ progress against annual and quarterly forecasts.
- Manage and mentor a small finance team focused on financial planning & analysis, business support, business accounting to establish strong business partner relationships.
- Lead preparation of analysis, commentary, and presentation material for the monthly financial review meetings with business and corporate leadership.
- Proactively seek opportunities to improve planning and reporting processes, drive adoption of business-wide consolidation tool, Planful.
- Provide financial modeling and analysis and support other ad-hoc financial projects. Benchmark performance against competition with available information.
- Build relationships and partnerships across departments to thoroughly understand how information flows through transactional systems and standardize its usage across the various functions within the LPS Business.
- Partner with International finance team to standardize and harmonize reporting and forecast processes between North American & European based LPS businesses.
- Serve as a partner to the LPS Business, supporting business unit leadership in assessing strategic options, analyzing data, and providing recommendations.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Education and Experience:
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership and reporting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, CPA or MBA preferred.
- Has worked in a company using US GAAP and is familiar with the SOX internal control framework.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems, with advanced Excel skills.

Other Relevant Information:
- This position may require up to 10% travel to various sites.
- The base salary range for this role is $148,800 to $223,100. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
