Salary: USD $70,000.00/Yr.
The Intensive Home-Based Therapeutic Care serve youths with emotional challenges and/or multi-stressed families. Individuals are referred by the Department of Mental Health (DMH) and receive services including flexible individualized treatment, rehabilitation, supervision and support that vary in intensity depending on the youth and family needs. Services are delivered using a Wraparound Philosophy which help family, support members, and service providers work collaboratively to support the family or child. Additionally, all services are delivered using a Trauma Informed Care Approach.
The Lead Clinician will be responsible for providing support to individuals served, their families and will work to coordinate care with outside agencies such as DCF, DMH, schools and other service providers to ensure integration of treatment. This individual is a key leader in the division that will be responsible for the supervision (group and individual) of outreach counselors and clinicians.
Other Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate training and onboarding for clinical staff.
- Help the youth and their identified family achieve timely progress toward the permanency outcome.
- Ability to forge a mutually respectful partnership with persons served and their families.
- Ensure that all required documentation meets licensing standards.
- Screen referred individuals in compliance with funding source regulations; and manage referrals as assigned.
- Provide crisis support, care coordination and community linkage for all referred youth and families.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in social services field and independent licensure (LMHC or LICSW), required.
- Prior experience working with children, adolescents, young adults and their families.
