MSC Cruises is seeking a Vice President of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Marketing Technology (MarTech) who will play a lead role in developing and delivering comprehensive strategies, tools/technologies, analyses, and campaigns that meet MSC Cruises USA commercial business objectives. Specifically, the focus of this role will be to guide data-driven innovation across the organization by mobilizing MSC Cruises’ Customer Marketing and CRM systems while leveraging the power of the company’s customer data warehouse.
Responsibilities include:
- Experienced technology and business leader with a track record of driving a digital agenda and influencing change within a highly complex environment, ideally from global, customer-obsessed, multichannel organizations.
- Proven experience building and optimizing CRM and other marketing technology platforms, as well as a strong understanding of data flows and technical architecture.
- The ability to create and articulate an inspiring vision for the CRM & Marketing team.
- The inclination to seek and analyze data from a variety of sources to support decisions and align others with the U.S. organization's overall strategy.
- An entrepreneurial and creative approach to developing new, innovative ideas that will stretch the organization and push the boundaries within the industry.
- The ability to effectively balance the desire/need for broad change with an understanding of how much change the organization is capable of handling, to create realistic goals and implementation plans that are achievable and successful in alignment with the Headquarters team.
- The ability to attract and recruit top talent, motivate the team, delegate effectively, celebrate diversity within the team, and manage performance; widely viewed as a strong developer of others.
- Partner effectively with the global MSC Cruises team to ensure alignment on CRM and MarTech strategy and US market execution.
- Maximize performance of existing marketing technology tools while building a roadmap for migration to new Adobe and Salesforce marketing technology tools.
- Determine use cases and enhancement opportunities for various tools and programs that deliver value to the business users.
- Lead customer database enhancement, growth, and segmentation.
- Identify new opportunities for data-driven innovation and evidence-based decision making.
- Work closely with the Marketing, eCommerce, Outbound, and Contact Center teams to drive list management, growth strategies, customer segmentation, and ongoing nurture campaigns.
- Evaluate emerging marketing technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective regarding applications and adoption, where appropriate.
