job purpose: As the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of talent acquisition initiatives to attract, develop, and retain high-quality talent across our growing footprint. Your role will be instrumental in shaping the company's workforce and culture, driving innovation and growth. You will have the opportunity to spearhead transformative projects that align with fairlife's growth objectives, including leading the talent acquisition strategies for our new Webster, NY plant. Influencing the future success of the company through talent, this role will foster diverse and inclusive talent pipelines, and leverage cutting-edge recruitment strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
responsibilities:
- Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract top-tier talent that aligns with the company's goals and growth.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of talent acquisition partners to meet hiring objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define workforce planning strategies and talent pipeline development.
- Analyze recruiting metrics, market trends, and industry best practices to continuously improve talent acquisition processes and outcomes.
- Provide strategic guidance on diversity and inclusion initiatives to ensure a diverse and inclusive workforce.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, universities, and recruiting agencies to expand the talent network.
- Lead employer branding initiatives to enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice.
- Drive continuous improvement in candidate experience through feedback mechanisms and process optimization.
- Develop and equip hiring managers with interview and selection skills, training and resources.
skills/qualifications required:
- 7+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience (CPG or Manufacturing experience highly preferred).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop talent acquisition professionals.
- Demonstrated experience in building and managing high-performing Talent Acquisition teams in North America.
- Experience in leveraging data analytics and metrics to drive decision-making and optimize recruitment processes.
- Experience implementing innovative recruitment technologies and tools to enhance the candidate experience and streamline hiring processes (Greenhouse or similar ATS system and ATS system implementation is highly preferred).
- Proven ability to develop strategic plans for building candidate pipelines and implementing effective hiring strategies within a fast-paced manufacturing environment for hourly and salaried roles.
- Ability to partner with senior leadership to align talent acquisition strategies with overall business objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Ability to handle ambiguity and proven track record of adapting to and thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, and dynamic manufacturing environment.
