Where you shine:
Associate Director leads the Marketing Science team by providing analytics-based strategic insights and direction to aid in the development of creative strategy and measurement plans for clients. Working closely with Marketing Science Leads, Account Management, Creative, Research, and Media teams, provides an internal consultative perspective on retailer and cultural trends, shopper behavior, and commerce technology. Supports the agency new business opportunities as requested.
What your success will look like:
- Thought leader to account teams (agency and client) on campaign planning and campaign effectiveness
- Define key metrics and set goals
- Incorporate opportunity sizing and predictive ROI analysis into planning
- Understanding shifting landscapes in commerce and commerce technology
- Finger on the pulse when it comes to cultural trends across generations
- Develop strategic recommendations from results in format of strategic stories & playbooks
- Function as the subject matter expert for retail and commerce
- Research best-in-class examples from other brands in and out of the category
- Support agency new business opportunities by bringing new methodologies and strategies and leveraging data to guide growth opportunities
- Interrogate client briefs to be sure all the information is complete
- Develop client and creative presentations in Keynote and Power Point on key strategies and insights, barriers, and ways in
- Can maintain good working relationships with creative leaders
- Review the work of Analytics team members and provide feedback and recommendations
Who you are and what you bring:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience performing and leading analytics initiatives
- Experience in CPG industry and highly proficient in working with data/tools like Nielsen, IRI, Numerator/ being able to speak to metrics and learnings from these data sets with high confidence highly preferred
- Strong cultural and detective skills and experience analyzing business problems
- Advanced Keynote and PowerPoints skills
- Proficient knowledge of IRI/Simmons a benefit
- Critical thinking; draw conclusions, find creative solutions, structured problem-solving approach
- Ability to build relationships across team, departments, vendors and clients
- Collaborate and communicate complex, technical concepts to non-quantitative audience
- Ability to effectively manage timelines and deliverables of multiple projects simultaneously

Salary Information:
The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. $90,000 - $180,000 USD
