All Faiths Children’s Advocacy Center (AFCAC) is currently seeking a Director of Informatics/IT to join our team and help children and families thrive! AFCAC is the only Children’s Advocacy Center in Albuquerque, working as trusted advocates for children and families affected by trauma.

Required:
- 7 years’ experience in informatics, data management or information systems management
- Bachelors (master preferred) in Information Technology, Informatics, Data Science, Computer Sciences or related discipline; In lieu of Bachelors, 4 years of experience
- Experience with healthcare data sets, claims data analysis, EMR/EHR infrastructure
Preferred:
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Experience in non-profit environment preferred
What will I do as the Director of Informatics/IT with All Faith’s?
The Director of Informatics/IT is responsible for the overall direction and daily management of AFCAC’s data strategy and technology systems. The Director is responsible for the development and maintenance of databases, as well as the collection, standardization and reporting of all data for program and service performance monitoring, strategic planning, contract and grant compliance, and continuous quality improvement across agency operations. The Director is also responsible for identifying and managing AFCAC’s IT needs and supporting updates and enhancements to current systems.
- Works in collaboration with all agency departments to develop and continuously improve standard operating procedures pertaining to technology and data management and security
- Responsible for managing all aspects of clinical data quality, data governance and data management, including maintenance and support of the agency’s EHR and other database platforms used for data analytics
- Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders and Informatics staff to deliver on technology needs, data initiatives and reporting requirements
- Develops, implements and maintains standard data storage and entry procedures
- Directs data support for Federal, State and Local accreditation processes
- Oversees provision of data required for grant-writing and monthly reporting
- Participates in the Quality Improvement Workgroup and Data Governance Subcommittee, including chairing either committee, if so directed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities preferred to perform:
- Strong understanding of relational database design and data warehouse concepts
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Knowledge of data integration strategies
- Project management skills
- Ability to function independently, manage tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High-level proficiency with MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access
- High-level proficiency with SQL Server databases required; experience with Tableau preferred
- Up-to-date knowledge of latest health IT development preferred
