Summary:
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will assist team members in refining upcoming project work from a quality engineer perspective to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and methodologies. You will apply Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Quality Assurance (QA) methodology and standards to verify and validate that products meet specifications and acceptance criteria.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements, specifications, and design documents to create detailed test plans and cases, covering functional, non-functional, and regression testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using modern tools and frameworks such as Selenium and Cypress to enhance efficiency and coverage.
- Execute manual and automated tests, documenting results and identifying defects.
- Recommend design improvements and defect corrections throughout the software development process.
- Track and manage defects through the defect lifecycle, working closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with development, product management, and other teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Create test cases independently that include pre and post conditions, test execution steps, and expected results for releases and defects.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree preferred.
- 2 or more years of relevant experience in software quality assurance testing required.
- Knowledge of software architecture and design standards.
- Knowledge of performance testing, test automation tools and frameworks highly preferred.
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban preferred.
- Experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
- Experience working in cloud development preferred.
- Requires strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Estimated Hiring Range: At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $127,600.00. This position is also incentive eligible.
