The District Manager, Reproductive Medicine is responsible for innovative and entrepreneurial leadership of a team, overseeing business development and product promotion within an assigned geographical area. You will lead a regional team in a rapidly changing marketplace and have alignment and accountability in the rapidly emerging regional and national fertility clinic networks. In addition to meeting and exceeding performance goals, you will coach, manage and develop your team.

Responsibilities:
- Build, lead, coach and develop high performing members of district sales teams.
- Embrace brand strategy and apply it to drive district sales and achieve plan of action.
- Analyze and understand markets and customers; use this knowledge to drive recommendations for future programs and training.
- Participate in Sales field rides; coach and develop employees based on observations.
- Identify new, unique, and profitable business opportunities.
- Create, own, and develop business relationships with key customers and large regional and national accounts.
- Monitor and manage district sample allotments, travel, and expenses.
- Leverage learning opportunities and share results with stakeholders within district and Home Office.
- Develop and monitor goals and track team performance against established KPIs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical leadership experience required.
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical, specialty sales management, specialty pharmacy or trade experience preferred.
- Prior job experience in Reproductive Medicine/Endocrinology/Women's Health, regional/national accounts, marketing, market access, analytics, training or related roles is preferred.
- Product launch experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated business and strategic planning skills to identify unique selling opportunities and adaptability to changing market conditions.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Strong collaboration skills and success working in teams.

Physical Requirements:
- Extensive travel required to perform job duties; up to 70% of the time depending upon the geography of the territory.
- Sitting approximately 3 - 4 hours at a time while driving or as a passenger and operating an automobile.
- Walking up to 15% of the time depending upon the geography of the territory.
- Climbing stairs and/or ramps may be required in certain urban territories where the use of public transportation may be necessary during the course of the workday.
- Standing, more than 1 -2 hours at a time.
- Lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling items such as laptop, iPad, printed material and product samples weighing up to 20 pounds, into and out of a car, bus, train or airplane and into physician offices and/or medical facilities.
- Frequent long-distance travel via airplane or other commercial conveyance. Additional overnight and/or longer distance travel may be required more frequently, depending upon the territory and the business needs.

Our Compensation and Benefits:
At Ferring, base salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $155,000 to $180,000 which is the reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount paid may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education and primary work location. Additional compensation for this role will be provided based on competitive annual incentive compensation targets in the form of sales commissions - payouts are based on individual and geography/company performance.
Benefits for this role include: comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with a premium differential, inverse to base salary, to be paid by employees; a 401k plan and company match; short and long-term disability coverage; basic life insurance; wellness benefits; reimbursement for certain tuition expenses; sick time frontloaded yearly of 40 hours, or higher if state or local law requires; vacation time for full time employees to accrue between 112.5 and 150 hours yearly in the first four (4) years of employment, and additional accruals starting in the fifth (5th) year of employment; and 12 to 13 paid holidays per year.
