The Director, Financial Planning & Analysis drives improvements in business performance by working with key stakeholders (including senior management) as the subject matter expert in financial analysis, planning, and financial forecasting.
The Finance organization is responsible for leading and participating in a number of critical functions including: supporting executive management decisions making by analyzing results, assessing strategic alternatives and developing strategic plans; communicating financial results and forecasts with critical stakeholders, including executive management and Board of Directors, shareholders and regulators; developing and maintaining financial data and systems. The Finance organization works across functions and Business lines in the Company, requiring a broad understanding of our business, risk and strategy.
Generates forecasts and analyzes trends in revenue-generating organizations, finance and other areas of business for financial and strategic planning purposes. Conducts financial and economic analysis and forecasting and evaluates alternate financial plans. Prepares, analyzes, interprets financial results across all entities under US GAAP and IFRS.
Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements
- Manages financial planning process working with different stakeholders across the organization.
- Recommends operational strategies and plans with direct impact on the company's results.
- Develops and exercises business cases by utilizing/developing financial forecast models, and challenging assumption inputs that will have impact on the achievement of functional results.
- Conducts financial analysis through primary and secondary researches in order to identify business trends, financial performance and competitors developments.
- Analyzes and monitors issues that affect profitability, growth and productivity for the different business units.
- Prepares monthly reporting under US GAAP and IFRS to senior leaders on consolidated entity as well as all its reporting segments.
- Supports on Board of Director materials as well all Investor Relations materials.
- Trains, mentors, and coaches colleagues and subordinates.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.
- CPA or CFA license holder preferred.
- Master's Degree Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or equivalent field preferred.
- 12+ Years Financial Planning, Analysis/Budgeting in the Banking/Financial Services Industry.

- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships at all levels of management.
- Ability to develop moderately complex financial and operational models using spreadsheets and database software.
- Demonstrated financial modeling knowledge and skills with strong analytical, qualitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-directed, self-motivated and demonstrated experience providing ideas and solutions to further business understanding.
- Ability to listen and interpret the requirements of internal clients, plan accordingly, and exceed expectations.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
Salary: $148,500 - $210,000/year
